Women’s football group in Angola strikes partnership deal with Premier Projects

A partnership with Premier Projects has given women’s football in Angola a major boost.

Nova Geração Futebol Clube agreed a deal with the community department of Premier Bet, that will see a women’s tournament held in Luanda.

Premier Projects donated equipment to support the tournament. Items included footballs, whistles, nets and scoreboards.

They also provided trophies and medals for the top three teams. Other trophies included the tournament’s best player, top goal scorer and best goalkeeper.

A spokesman for Premier Projects commented: “We could not be happier to partner with Nova Geração Futebol Clube. They are doing great things for women’s football in Angola.

“Earlier in 2021, we launched our Sport For All campaign. This campaign aims to bring sports to everyone, regardless of wealth, ability, gender or status.

“This partnership shows our commitment to women’s football and our pledge to make sports more accessible for everyone.”

The tournament will take place the week commencing May 10, 2021.

Premier Projects have been very active in Angola, ever since sports betting giant, Premier Bet, opened in the country.

They have renovated basketball courts in Cazenga and Rangel, donated food packs to vulnerable communities and provided PPE to hospitals in a bid to combat the pandemic.
