Premier Projects donate food and PPE to Angolan community

Premier Projects have donated a significant amount of food to a struggling community in Angola.

Premier Projects is the charity sector of Premier Bet, a new sports betting firm in Angola. The company is committed to giving back to the local community.

According to the UN, Angola has a "high level of food insecurity as a result of displacement and high rates of pre-existing poverty.” The district of Cazenga was recommended as an area that was in need of support.

Angola is just the latest country where Premier Projects has done such work. These donations have also been done in Cameroon and Malawi, to name a few.

Food donations included pasta, rice, oils, flour and sugars, whilst the health kits had disinfectants, soaps and masks.

A spokesman for Premier Projects said: “We’re delighted to be able to help the people of Cazenga with the essentials that some of us take for granted. The COVID-19 pandemic has made life extremely difficult for lots of communities.

“We are a new business in Angola and one of our policies is to leave a positive impact. This donation is just the start of our social work in Angola.”

The donations were made on September 13th, in the presence of the local authorities and the media.
