The sports betting giant has partnered with three teams in Mali’s Premier Division to provide equipment
Premier Bet PMU has teamed up with three teams from Mali’s Premier Division.
The deal saw the sports betting company and Premier Projects donate football kits, training tops and boots to the Ligue 1 teams.
The Premier Bet PMU logo will feature on the shirts of the three clubs. Those clubs are Stade Malien, Lafia Club de Bamako and Black Stars.
A spokesman for Premier Projects, the charity division of Premier Bet PMU commented: “We are committed to improving the beautiful game in Mali. In order for this to happen, teams need access to basic equipment. We could not be happier to do this for these three great Bamako sides.”
All three clubs have received enough kits for their first team squads. In the current economic climate, where the Coronavirus has affected all walks of life, this donation was well received by the clubs’ presidents.
Current Premier Division champions, Stade Malien, are one of the most successful teams in Mali. They have won 22 championships.
This donation is evidence of Premier Bet PMU and Premier Projects’ commitment to the improvement of sports in Mali.
