Premier Projects supports women with disabilities in Angola

Premier Projects has teamed up with the Angolan Association for the Rights and Inclusion of Women with Disabilities to supply essential equipment to improve their quality of life.

The partnership saw Premier Projects provide 40 crutches, seven wheelchairs, a thermometer and a wanderer.

A spokesman for Premier Projects said:

“We are very happy to make this donation to a worthy cause. The association is doing incredible work to raise awareness for Angolans living with disabilities.

“They are helping bring dignity to people in need in our communities. We sincerely hope that our donation allows them to continue their incredible work and provide better mobility.”

Human impact

Noriana dos Santos is a woman who feels the benefits of the association. Noriana has difficulties with mobility and was visibly moved by the donation from Premier Projects.

The Angolan Association for the Rights and Inclusion of Women with Disabilities supports people in many ways. This includes awareness of physical condition, psychological help, legal support when necessary and also education.

This falls in line with the Premier Projects campaign, Education For All. Education For All was launched in July 2021. This will improve access to academic resources across Africa.
