The fight against Coronavirus has caused great suffering around the world and the impact on every day life has been substantial.
Mali is no different in this regard, with flights, schools and large gatherings banned or closed by the President in March.
Premier Bet PMU, supported by their charity wing, Premier Projects have acted to protect those on the frontline in the battle against Coronavirus.
Four hospitals in Bamako have received substantial quantities of hydroalcoholic sanitizer gels, disposable masks and gloves from the betting company, to help them win out against COVID-19.
Lafiabougou CSREF, Hamdallaye Maternity, Military Base B Hospital and the Hippodrome INRSP were all recipients of the urgent supplies. As well as the hospitals, Premier Bet PMU and Premier Projects also provided their staff, agents and some locals with the protective kits.
