Premier Projects donates oxygen and emergency medical items to hospital in Malawi

Premier Projects has donated emergency medical equipment to a hospital in Malawi, in an effort to combat COVID-19.

The community department of Premier Bet and Premier Loto provided 10 oxygen cylinders, four medical oxygen regulators and 10,000 masks to the Zomba Central Hospital.

Coronavirus infections in Malawi have risen sharply since the turn of the year. The total number of cases is now recorded at 30,000. This is up from approximately 6,500 on December 31, 2020.

A spokesman for Premier Projects commented:

“We are very happy to provide important equipment to Zomba Central Hospital in their time of need. Coronavirus is a real threat in Malawi. The front-line workers are putting their own health at risk to save others.”
“As a company, we understand our duty to help the communities we work in. We believe this donation will save lives and help us recover from COVID-19.”

Premier Projects has shown its dedication to Malawian communities before.  The company has donated PPE and health items to those in need across the country.

They have also built new sports facilities in Blantyre and provided gifts to orphanages in Lilongwe as part of their charity work.
