Premier Projects and RJC donate medical equipment to a Health Centre in Cameroon

The fight against Coronavirus is still ongoing across the world, generating a lot of goodwill from many places and industries. In Cameroon, Premier Projects and its partner RJC have orchestrated a national campaign to support medical centres all over the country.

A recent beneficiary was the Health Centre of Mambain in the West Region. On June 13th RJC and Premier Projects donated a full kit of medical equipment to the Centre. Hydro-alcoholic gels, surgical masks, regular masks, medical gloves, thermos flashes, soap and buckets with integrated taps for hand wash were among the items delivered.

A Premier Projects representative commented:

“This is part of a national campaign we’ve launched after the start of the pandemic. Our goal is to add to the efforts of the authorities to fight against this virus. We want to raise awareness on the preventative measures across the country, and we want to make sure most Health Centres are properly equipped to provide good care to the population.”

And indeed the action of Premier Projects has been countrywide. Regions like Wouri, Sanaga maritime or Noun have already been supported by the joined action of Premier Projects and RJC.

For the Mambain Health Centre, this donation gives the medical team great satisfaction but also a sense of relief.

“We want to thank the RJC and Premier Projects management for the dedication with which they’ve led this project”
“This equipment will help save lives and villages need that kind of support to face this unprecedented sanitary crisis.”
