Ghana hospitals receive PPE from Premier Projects

Premier Projects in Ghana has donated COVID-19 protection kits to medical centres in an effort to combat the virus and safeguard those in need.

The protection kits include durable face masks, gloves, sanitizers, face shields and temperature guns.

These substantial kits have been kindly donated to Adabraka Polyclinic and Mamobi Polyclinic. Both hospitals are in Accra.

Premier Bet and their charity division, Premier Projects, have also taken measures to protect their staff and customers. The same protection kits have been delivered to all points of sale and the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines have been printed and displayed in all Premier Bet shops.

A spokesman for Premier Bet commented:

“The nurses and doctors in our hospitals are on the frontline in the battle against COVID-19. The sacrifices they have made is something that has inspired us all at Premier Bet and we want them to know that their efforts will not be forgotten. We believe in helping the communities we work in and it brings me great pride to be able to give back to the hospitals and help their employees stay safe during such testing times.”

To date, there have been over 14,000 cases of COVID-19 in Ghana. Sadly, 85 people have died because of the virus.

Premier Bet and Premier Projects would like to encourage the whole of Ghana to listen to the advice of the WHO and the Ghanaian government. Protect Africa, Protect Ghana.
