Premier Projects has supported a hospital in Angola with the donation of critical PPE supplies.
The Hospital Divina Providência in Angola’s capital, Luanda, received 1,250 surgical uniforms and 19,400 gloves from Premier Projects.
The donation by Premier Bet’s community department helped support the hospital in the fight against COVID-19.
A spokesman for Premier Projects said: “We are very happy to be able to help the hospital and the keyworkers during these unprecedented times.
“We believe it’s our duty to support our communities and say thanks to the nurses and doctors working to keep us safe.”
Premier Projects has donated similar items to hospitals across Africa. In February 2021, the group provided aid to a hospital in Mozambique. This followed donations in Malawi, Cameroon and Ghana, to name a few.
According to reports, there have been just under 21,000 cases of Coronavirus in Angola and slightly over 500 deaths.
