Premier Projects, the CSR division of Premier Bet and Premier Loto, has partnered with the Francis Ngannou Foundation, to create the first MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Academy and two MMA Arenas for young people in Cameroon.
On the 2nd of March 2022, La Royale Des Jeux Du Cameroun (RJC) & Premier Projects signed a partnership with the Francis Ngannou Foundation, to implement in Cameroon the very first international MMA training centre. This project is the first of its kind in the Sub-Saharan Africa region and will aim to reveal the most talented MMA fighters in Cameroon and more broadly in the region.
The First MMA – Martial Arts Academy and Arena in Cameroon
Premier Projects and the Francis Ngannou Foundation share a common mission; empower the young African generation to realize their dream through sports. Our collaboration aims to join our resources and knowledge to build the very first MMA and Martial Arts courts arena.
- The Martial Arts Academy will provide a safe place for the young Cameroonian people to discover and develop their abilities. In this facility, our trainees will have access to a professional coach, the education and the equipment they need.
- The Martial Arts Arena is for the whole community to enjoy. We plan to build two martial arts courts in 2022. People will be able to practice martial arts, as much as they like, in a safe environment.
Premier Projects Arena/Academy will contribute actively to building the training facilities and buying the required equipment that will support and empower the young talented MMA fighters across the country and beyond so that they could reach the highest level possible in their art. Our mission is to make a positive difference and take action to open doors for these children, by strengthening their skills and supporting them in achieving their full potential.
“Go after your dreams, no matter how unattainable others think it is” – Francis Ngannou
The Francis Ngannou Foundation
The Francis Ngannou Foundation is a non-profit organization created by Francis Ngannou, a professional mixed martial artist and the UFC heavyweight champion.
In May 2018, Francis Ngannou founded this Foundation to help people in his village realise their ambitions in the same manner he did. He built the first formal gym in his hometown of Batie, intending to expand to other African cities.
“That’s a great partnership with ambitious goals conveyed by its stakeholders and a fantastic demonstration of Corporate citizenship.” – Alexandre Qader, Premier Bet Cameroon Operation Director
We are so very proud of this new partnership and cannot wait to work side-by-side with the Francis Ngannou Foundation to positively impact the young Cameroonian generation. Follow our journey in building the first CSR Pan-African sports platform on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
